A valve that closes to prevent backward flow of liquid


Limits the flow of gas to one direction only. Use a check valve between the bubbler and generator to prevent unwanted pressure build up in the generator, and a safety against a low level bubbler. A check valve, such as used on torches, is recommended.


A check valve, clack valve, non-return valve or one-way valve is a mechanical device, a valve, which normally allows fluid (liquid or gas) to flow through it in only one direction.


A valve which will allow water to pass in one direction but will close and prevent flow (backflow) in the opposite direction.

Jenkins is a lunar crater that lies along the equator of the Moon, near the eastern limb. It is attached to the eastern rim of the slightly larger crater Schubert X, intruding somewhat into the interior.

Up Jenkins, also know by the shortened name Jenkins, is a party game in which players conceal a small coin (or in some variations a ring) in their palm as they slap it on a table with their bare hands.
