Hot Water is a novel by P.G. Wodehouse, first published on August 17, 1932, in the United Kingdom by Herbert Jenkins, London, and in the United States by Doubleday, Doran, New York. The novel had been serialised in Collier's from 21 May to 6 August 1932.
Water heating is a thermodynamic process using an energy source to heat water above its initial temperature. Typical domestic uses of hot water are for cooking, cleaning, bathing, and space heating. In industry, both hot water and water heated to steam have many uses.
Day 196, Plumbing Woes
This is our 'tempering valve'. It's job is to mix hot water from the tank with the cold supply and send non-burning hot water out to the house. It's been here since the house was built back in 1996, and is on it's 2nd hot water cylinder (behind and left). But it's been playing up for a while and has now sprung a leak (between the blue and silver faces) when there is water flowing.
