Uses Of Gate Valve
- A valve with a sliding part that controls the extent of the aperture
- A gate valve, also known as a sluice valve, is a valve that opens by lifting a round or rectangular gate/wedge out of the path of the fluid.
- (Gate Valves) Valves that have a wheel type handle. Several turns of the handle are required to turn off a gate valve. Gate valves are most commonly used on mainline pipes with high water pressure or high water flow.

Gates and gauge
A turn-valve for the firefighting tank. A test shot on the newly Cla'd lens. The lens is fine - just that the development went wrong. Somehow the stand development has resulted in the chemicals being active to the bottom of the tank, hence the partial over-development. I just have to use fresh mix next time - my chemicals stood for a long while since my last B&W development. I just need to shoot and develop more!
