Water Valve Shut Off
- An electro-mechanical device that opens a valve to allow water to flow. The electric current causes a magnetic field to develop, in the solenoid coil, which then moves a metallic plunger. The plunger in turn opens the valve. May also be called a FILL VALVE.

The water comes from the middle of 3 meters on Pine Cone St (at skyline in photo). Where Gustaf is working is a shut off from the ca 1993 black water pipe where it joins the 2011 PEX. Another shut off is located under the house in the access hatch in the bathroom floor. Line is buried 18-24"
Water Valve
This would be permanently flowing if the main water supply had not been shut off. I had to replace the valve.
