Velan Globe Valve

This picture was shot in diffused sun light with EF 100mm F2.8 Macro lens. The background was edited in PS. I would have liked the centre column to have looked cylindrical, with some more time I cud have achieved it with directional light, or with reflectors and diffusers. The point I wanted toi make is that, it is possible to get decent product images in sunlight. This is a bad example :)
Valve, globe
Globe valves are often used for controlling flows because they wear evenly. The valve should make a bubble tight closure even after significant wear.
