Brass Bleed Valve. Positive Air Shut Off Valve.
Brass Bleed Valve
- Valve with a small opening inside which permits a minimum fluid flow when valve is closed.
- Used to manually turn on an automatic valve. a bleed valve is located on or near the top of the valve. It can be a small screw, a lever, or built into the solenoid. When turned, the bleed valve allows water to flow out of the cavity over the internal diaphragm of the valve.

Probably the most challenging (annoying) part of this project was making the curved grab irons. I used a modified method that Mike Rose described on his website. I also added underframe details like retaining valve and bleed off lines from 0.010" brass rod.
