    fill valve
  • An electro-mechanical device that opens a valve to allow water to flow. The electric current causes a magnetic field to develop in the solenoid coil which in turn then moves a metallic plunger. The plunger is attached to a diaphragm which opens the valve.

  • The fill valve is located in a commode water tank. It is a liquid level-actuated valve that regulates the amount of water dispersed from the tank to the bowl.

  • (Fill Valves) A location on the tube through which you can inflate or deflate the tube. These valves are spring loaded to close and contain the air inside the tubes. The valve can also be turned to an “OPEN” position to quickly evacuate the tube of air when preparing to transport the boat.

3 Ballcocks just hanging?

3 Ballcocks just hanging?

A plastic blue ballcock or float Valve is usually a mechanism for filling water tanks, such as those found in flush toilets, while avoiding overflow.

The toilet, though not one of the more glamorous of home fixtures, is designed to do a very specific job—to carry away waste and prevent sewer gasses from entering the residence, and unless something goes wrong, it handles its job adroitly. The mechanism was invented by Thomas Crapper and is used ingeniously here, hung up ornately as a shop sign to advertise and be a representation indicative of the trade of the shopkeeper; our new local plumbers on Bouverie Road West.
