A globe valve is a type of valve used for regulating flow in a pipeline, consisting of a movable disk-type element and a stationary ring seat in a generally spherical body.

i really wish they would re-release Robyn Hitchcock's album "Globe of Frogs" on CD. While they are at it "Queen Elvis" - it's a fundamental part of my music collection from my college years and I fear my cassette tapes are on their way out.
