Automatic Block Valve
- Block aspects convey basic track occupancy information and advise the engineer (operator) which of the basic signal rules (common to all railroads) he/she is to follow in the operation of his/her train at any point on the railway line.
- A block section in which operation of the signals is fully controlled by track circuits.

"Transmission"
Slightly evocative of the art of HR Geiger, the industrial pattern on these moleskines is the result of a block-print using the actual valve body from the automatic transmission of a late-60s/early 70s era Volvo. Hand-painted and printed in black ink. 3.5" x 5.5" unlined cahier notebook.
Printed Moleskines
Five 3.5" x 5.5" plain Moleskine notebooks, hand-painted and block-printed using a portion of a Volvo automatic transmission valve-body. Soon to be for sale on Etsy.
