Jasmin & Darren's English Toffee
Was delighted when daughter Jasmin asked to make candy with me recently. We whipped up this 4 lb. tin of English Toffee and it tastes delicious - better than store bought. Well worth the nice third degree burn I got on my arm from being clumsy holding the pan while Jazz got the last of it out with a spatula. Note to self: At least wear long sleeves next time.
The toffee features sliced almonds on the inside, and crushed almonds in the Special Dark Chocolate on top. Real butter and vanilla... yum! Thanks for suggesting it, Jazz-o-plaz!
Taken with a Pentax SMC 18mm f3.5 manual focus lens on my K200D.
