Dr. Lawrence demonstrates to Brandon Dunn, Aaron Juhasz, Eric Afari (back row), Adam Sutherland and Amanda McMahan (front row) how to estimate refrigerant temperatures using an infrared temperature sensor on the copper tubing.UGA Engineering students enrolled in ENGR 4620 (Building Environmental Control I) participated in a hands-on lab on April 21, 2005 measuring the performance of a building air conditioning system condenser unit. The students took measurements and recorded data on the system temperatures, airflow and electrical current draw.
