Introduced in 1951 the A30 Van was replaced by the almost identical A35 (1956-68) differances include the painted front grille with chrome horse shoe surround replaced the all chrome grille of the A30. (The saloons have a larger rear window). Front and rear flashers replaced the A30 semaphore signals, and a the A30 had a four speed box with the first three ratios close together the A35 had a more evenly spaced ratios. The later A35 engine was increased to 975cc
