Yep, me with zero makeup and zero creativity. I got nuthin' today. The fam is upstairs watching a movie, and while I usually partake on movie night, I just did not feel up to it.
Today has flown by, but I guess I feel productive. I slept in, and Dave and I had a quiet breakfast together - it was nice. When I was not working we had breakfast together every morning and I realize how much I miss that. The makeup-less-ness is due to my spa day, where I got my usual 2 waxes and I also got a free mini-facial (not because of a referral or anything, but I think she felt so sorry for me and my skin becoming so dehydrated from moving here and we were talking about products so she just did it). Then I came home and picked up kiddos and we did the shopping we did not get to last night because we were running so late and then I finished up a ton of laundry and cleaned pretty much the whole house (Dave did some for me while I was gone, yay!). And then made dinner. And had dinner. And did the dishes. And gave myself a pedicure. And went into the basement to take this photo. And then wrote up a desc. with terrible grammar starting sentences with 'and'. ;-)
I am tired. No early bedtime though. I have things I still want to do. I suspect the next 4 days until vaca are going to drag but I want to get the house clean (I hate coming home to a mess, especially since I will NOT have a rest/unpack day after we get home before going back to work! We get home fairly late that night and then work the next day) and just take care of some things.
I have done photos with no makeup but this one just feels so BARE. You know how when you get a facial in the end your skin is better off but it really looks like hell the rest of that day? Yeah.
Have I mentioned how much I am looking forward to getting away with Dave? I need it. WE need it (he may disagree but I strongly feel that way. It's been too long. We need time.).

#43: I think my biggest pet peeve is when people preach 'The Golden Rule' to no end and then do NOT follow it. I have had people do it to me (or you know, "do as I say, not as I do") and it amazes me how people can be. Things like that are the quickest way for me to lose respect for a person, and sadly I have lost some or most respect for people over the years who I interact with a lot because of this.

4 down....1 to go! Exams that is...I only have my 'Performance Managment' next friday but that's my best topic and so I'm not too stressed about that one. I'm glad the others are over but I'm not looking forward to results day but anyway, nearly over now, can't go back!
If your a regular visiter to my steams you'll know I live in student accomodation BUT not for long, the house we made an offer on, finally accepted... I'm so excited, it's a gorgeous house and should be living there within 8 weeks!!
I had a different idea for this photo but I didn't have masking tape and so I just messed about with the make up with this being the result, I must say I love good lighting!!
