decided to participate in todays TRP, digital makeup, in order to play around with some new mineral makeups (virtually) that I'm about to get. I wanted to challenge myself by wearing NO makeup when I took the picture, rather than just trying to enhance makeup or wearing foundation then applying the colors.

I tend to go to browns, greens, and other earthy shades for eyeshadow, so I went out on a limb a little and used tiger lily yellow, ivory, perfect plum, and peridot. the blush is "sunkissed", "precious" lip gloss over "saucy" lip stick. Totally a different look for me, more bright and spring/summery.

I might try it with plum colored eyeliner instead of black. depends on my mood. but definitely black mascara.

Want more info on the makeup? ask me. Mineral makeup is the bomb, especially if you are like me and don't like to wear makeup and don't like the way it feels on your skin.

Techie stuff:
Most of this was done with multiple color fill layers and merge modes that best suited the particular color/makeup. but I did an awful lot of blurring to simulate foundation/pressed powder covering up these icky pores. (I wish I'd had the sense to comb my eyebrows though) Sharpening and burning on the eyelashes to make them appear darker (but not necessarily longer) but the eyeliner was paineted on manually in a seperate layer set to "multiply"
