Kerry
Kerry lives two houses away from us, and is known in the neighborhood for his kind disposition, and for his bicycle riding. Not young anymore, he rides his mountain bike all through the lanes, streets and roads of our community here in Crestline and about. Jerry and I had walked down to the edge of the woods this morning and were heading back toward our home, when we met Kerry…walking, not riding.
“Streets are still a little icy,” he explained. “Can’t take my bike out until the streets are clear.” We stood together a few minutes, the day chilly, but bright and beautiful. We talked as neighbors do, and after asking if it would be okay, I snapped a few pictures of him and Jerry.
After a bit we moved apart, heading each in our own ways. “Good to talk with you, Kerry.”

Salford Quays Cranes To Move Too?
Salford Council has approved plans to spend over ?3million on tarting up a couple of roundabouts and some crossings leading to MediaCityUK. The Council hopes that one of the roundabouts, at the end of the M602, with its new `vandal proof plaques' and `resin bonded gravel' will become a pedestrian "destination"…
There's also a further plan to move the Grade A listed blue Quays Cranes to the M602 roundabout at an estimated extra cost of over ?400,000.
