Muskegon Heights Marching Band
If you've ever been to the Coast Guard Festival Parade, you know the best marching band by far is Muskegon Heights! This school system has a very low budget for the arts, and when you look closely at their instruments, they are scratched, dented, and in really rough shape. The music that comes out of them is absolutely amazing!
We had the opportunity to listen to them give a private show to some of the, shall I say, wealthier Grand Haven residents. They do this to raise funds for their band program.
