The Cello Concerto in B minor, Op. 104, B. 191, by Antonin Dvorak was the composer's last solo concerto, and was written in 1894–1895 for his friend, the cellist Hanus Wihan, but premiered by the English cellist Leo Stern.
Luigi Boccherini's Cello Concerto No. 9 in B flat Major, G.482 was written in either the late 1760s or early 1770s. Boccherini, a talented cellist, composed twelve concertos for his instrument.

Count Esterhazy's dedication to Haydn in Eisenstadt. Haydn died on May 31, 1809, in Vienna. His gravestone is at its original place, today called Haydn Park in the 12th district of Vienna; but in 1820 his body was taken to the Bergkirche in Eisenstadt, where there is a mausoleum with a marble sarcophagus.
