Young Barong performers rushing from door to door to perform on Kuningan Day
Galungan is the major festival that celebrates the triumph of virtue (Dharma) over evil (Adharma).
During Galungan, Barong dancers leap from temple to temple giving spontaneous performances while other Balinese musicans and dancers provide further entertainment. Galgugan culminates with Kuningan, the last and most important day of the festival, when beautifully-made offerings are given at temples to bid farewell to celestial spirits and ancestors for another year. Everyone puts on their best outfits.
These group consists of as many as 15 boys went door to door to perform with their Barong and musical instruments. Very interesting !

I followed few groups of Barong boys who went door to door to perform with their Barong and musical instruments. Very interesting !
