Bubbles in a glass....
Art Pepper on alto saxophone plays 'You go to my head'
You go to my head
You linger like a haunting refrain
And I find you spinning round
In my brain
Like the bubbles in a glass of champagne
You go to my head
Like a sip of sparkling burgundy brew
And I find the very mention of you
Like the kicker in a julep or two
The thrill of the thought
That you might give a thought
To my plea, casts a spell over me
Still I say to myself
Get ahold of yourself
Cant you see that it never can be
You go to my head with a smile
That makes my temperature rise
Like a summer with a thousand julys
You intoxicate my soul with your eyes
Though Im certain that this heart of mine
Hasnt a ghost of a chance
In this crazy romance
You go to my head, you go to my head

Last Song
I was taking a short cut through West Brompton cemetery, and although I know there are several American Indians buried there, I have yet to find their graves.
They died while working at Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show, which arrived by train at West Brompton station and camped at Earls Court for a year. The show was attended by both Queen Victoria and Oscar Wilde, who was such a big fan, he later travelled with them across America.
This song was on my ipod
"I'm so far away from you
Pacing up and down my room
Does Jesus only love a man who loses?
I turn on the radio
There's some cat on the saxophone
Laying down a litany of excuses..."
