I'm FINALLY in the Christmas parade shots. Woohoo. I don't have many of these though. Not happy with most of them.
The reason I took this shot is 3 fold.
1) He looked really upset about marching 2) I play the trumpet 3) My band director (same school, same band) died my senior year. With the money the band raised with fundraisers, rather than going on a band trip, they bought new uniforms (the ones you see here).

Happy New Year! Not quite NYE but there's a festive feel to this image.
Some guys strutting their stuff on the Malecon, a broad promenade, roadway and seawall which stretches for 8 km along the coast in Havana, Cuba, from the mouth of Havana Harbor in Old Havana to Vedado. I used the sunburst and God beams, carefully positioned one of the men to increase the drama of the scene.
