Gobble It Up! A Fun Song About Eating!
If you were a wild raccoon, You'd hunt at night by the light of the moon. You'd catch some crawdads where they crawl, And gobble them up -- shells and all! From a hungry crocodile's attempt at a meal of wild ducklings, to a shark cruising for schools of fish, to a whale wrestling a wild giant squid; to a panda eating rare bamboo...... While some animals become food -- and some get away, readers will delight in seeing what and how different animals eat. That's the way we all survive We have to eat to stay alive. We eat the food we have, and then -- We have to hunt for food again!

Song From My Teens ~ Fifteen
Update: Here's the answers then. Song title: "Quarter to Three" ~ well done to GenBug for correctly guessing the title although I didn't know that Springsteen had covered it. My Artiste was Gary U.S. Bonds and the year: 1961. Thanks to everyone for playing along. :>)
For Macro Mondays weekly theme " Songs From Your Teens"
Apparently this was one of the 100 greatest recordings for the year in question and in fact it was in the top ten for that year!
Here's the test: What title? [it's in the picture]. What artiste[s]? [ah now, that might give it away!]. What year? [there are some clues about]

Sing Up! is a collection of comic and satirical lyrics that comment on recent changes and developments in Irish society. It is, in the editor's own words "a gather-up of intolerance, irreverence, slagging and sedition"-and all the more welcome and necessary for that. "Most of the events commemorated in the lyrics took place over the 1980s and 1990s. The songs document the huge changes in Irish culture and society inside a small number of years. The territory is mostly modern Ireland in all its miseries, elations and protest, change and no change." Sex, National Politics, Drink, Fast Food, Traditional Music, Religion, Recreation, Agriculture, the Weather-all are analysed in depth herein through the medium of the direct slag, the obtuse dig, the dry remark. Fintan Vallely is a musician and writer on traditional music. From Co. Armagh, he has taught flute at the Willie Clancy Summer School in Co. Clare since 1986. He is the author of, among other works, the major reference volume, The A-Z Companion to Irish Traditional Music (1999). He is currently lecturer in traditional music on an innovative undergraduate music degree programme in Ireland at Dundalk Institute of Technology.
