Hand carved AK-47 Rifle Stock - Tru Oil finish
This is a 5.56 single shot Ak47 replica that I carved last year. The dark wood is Snake Wood (very hard) and the light is Sugar Maple with some excellent figure.
I finished it with about 15 coats of Tru-Oil gun stock oil finish. I don't know what I would do without that stuff; it is better than any other finish I have ever used.

Ok, just kidding. I wish I had oil stock. Seriously though, she looks like a tank (a bright, friendly, happy tank) but is actually shorter than medium-sized SUVs.
It's my first new car ever, so I went with something that made me smile. and can climb over buildings.
