I got compliments at the grocery store this morning, so I thought I'd record myself for posterity.
Brown Parkhurst beret (dirty hair underneath: shhh!)...my absolute favourite brand -- I've been wearing them for 30 years...
Purpley-grey shirt used to be a mini dress (sale rack at Target), but I lobbed the bottom off to extend the skirt on another dress...
Silver and copper bangles from the 22nd Street Thrift Store in Tucson...
Brown leather skirt I've had for 10 years...I think it's from Nordstrom...
Leggings are really just cheap tights I lobbed the feet off...
Clarks Indigo shoes...

Making a Falconry Bell
Two failed bels! The one on the top collapsed when I foolishly tried to move the solder with my tweezers, forgetting the lower melting point of shibuichi: the one on the right sounded lovely until I decided to see if I could make it more resonant by lengthening the channel. I couldn't and now it just clicks annoyingly, like a cheap budgie toy.
