We finally bought a cake stand, after wanting one for ages.
Danny and I were both excited about it this morning (and the lemon-buttermilk cake in it).
And then we stopped.
"Wow, we're old," Danny said.
At the same time, I said, "Oh my god, I've become June Cleaver."

These upcycled cake stands are made from pretty plates with candlesticks and small vases. All they need now are some yummy cupcakes!
