365 Day 8 - Child's Play
Day 8 - Child's Play
January 9, 2011
Today's photo was inspired by visiting a place where I went as a child, a place where you can use your fantasy... This is Travel Town. It used to be much more of a place of all transportation (since the early 1950's when they had Japanese Zero aircraft, and other famous cars, aircraft and trains) Today it is much more just a train place, but it is very unique. Situated in Griffith Park (yes another day back in this place... it's very large and there are a lot of things to do in it) it is free to get in and explore. I was really thinking of some cool photos to take of this place... tracks and switches and trains, but when I saw my daughter running down the middle of the train track with her arms up in the air like she was dancing I knew this was the shot.

Zip-lining
So over the weekend my friend took her daughter zip-lining for her birthday. She forgot her camera so she asked me to take pictures. My little point-and-shoot didn't do so well, or I was trying to take them too close up so I didn't get very good pictures. The other kids had iTouches with the CamWow app on it which does different effects. My son who's 7 wanted to do it too, so I downloaded the free app onto my phone. He took this picture and it turned out better than any of the pictures I took.
