RBK 6K Goalie pads
This is my pair of 36" RBK 6K Senior Goalie Pads in the amazing TGC exclusive, solid black jenpro colour combo!
I used them for one season. I played 45 to 50 games this year. I pretty satisfied with my pads. Has you can see there's some minor wear on the fabric and the logo. I had to put some shoegoo to protect the fabric. The screws on the toe bridge are always loose. I have to tight them every two to three games.
Ultra lightweight at just over 5 lbs a pad, they are a true butterfly style flat faced gem, 11" wide, featuring a TGC exclusive, Turco break V Roll for added flexibility, velcro knee locks with the new Giguere style knee lift, jenpro knee wings, the famous Lefevre style 3D calf wedge and a flat inside panel for easy rotation.
torture? or just getting goalie pads on?!
Assume the position! So in Initiation 2 (the level my six yr old plays at) this is the first year that they have goalies! This is a big deal! To get the goalie pads on the kids lay on top of them and then the coaches strap them to the kid! So funny. They just lay there, usually face down and just wait for it to be over.
it's the small things in life that amuse me:)
