College Hockey Scoring
College hockey most often refers to the American ice hockey competitive governance structure established by the National Collegiate Athletic Association, or NCAA, though leagues outside of the United States exist.
Decide on the score to be awarded to (a competitor)
(score) mark: a number or letter indicating quality (especially of a student's performance); "she made good marks in algebra"; "grade A milk"; "what was your score on your homework?"
Gain (a point, goal, run, etc.) in a competitive game
Gain (a number of points) for a competitor; be worth

The Amherst College men’s ice hockey fell into a one-goal deficit late in the first period, but responded to score six unanswered goals to hand Saint Michael’s College a 6-1 loss.
