Hugo got 2 free tickets to the LA Kings vs. Boston Bruins game at the Staples Center. When I found out they were for row 5 I knew I would have some great chances for pictures. However, since this was my first attempt at sports photography, I quickly learned that the action is so fast, if I didn't always have my camera ready I would miss the shot. There were countless great shots that I missed either because I wasn't read, the plastic frame blocked the shot, or my focus wasn't right. My batter also ran out in the beginning of the 3rd period so I was unable to take any pictures of the game's final shoot out which was a huge disappointment on my end. It was a great learning experience though. Next time an opportunity like this comes up I will be ready.
L.A. Kings Ice Princess
My uncle, a San Jose Sharks season-ticket holder, tells me the Sharks haven't made the move to hot chicks on the ice, yet. Sharks management could learn something here in L.A.
