We were driving back home after a long day shooting up in this snowy mountain and saw this stunning light on the hill side of Big Bear.

Big Bear Lake
Aerial through the plane window as we descend into L.A. late in the day. The large body of water on the lower right is Big Bear Lake. Big Bear Airport is just to the left of the lake.
The San Gabriel Mountains and other ridges are visible off toward the Pacific Ocean, which is in the distance below the layer of fog that often hugs the coast.
