I Recently did a shoot for a friend in the Grand View Hotel.
We met about a year ago, somewhere close to this time..
With this shoot we wanted to rewind the clock a little back to the days some of us look at, and wish we could have been apart of..

Elinchrom Quadra Ranger RX kit for this shoot.
2 X A heads, battery pack, and Elinchrom mods and skyports.
Camera left (315degrees) , A head on B port, with an Elinchrom Rotalux deep throat 70cm Octa (diffusers taken off), raised 6 FT on Manfrotto stands, Angled 45 degrees downwards onto model.
Camera right (135 degrees) A head on A port, with an Elinchrom 70cm Softbox (Diffusers taken off), raised 5ft on Manfrotto stands. Angled towards roof and slightly forward to fill the room.
Lights were at full power with a 2:1 ratio.

I will submit to you that I'm jealous my brother got to see this undeniable roadside classic the summer before it burned. He and a friend went out east on an amusement park road-trip and I stayed behind to chase a couple persistent roof leaks on a place where we all had stuff in storage. Such a deal!
