Hudson Plaza Motel
- A town in southern New Hampshire, on the Merrimack River; pop. 22,928

Hudson's Harness
Hudson is tired and wanted to go inside, but I wanted to show Janet what kind of harness we use for Hudson. As you'll see, when I convince him to walk over (so I can video him), he looks pooped out and just wants to climb up on me. But he can run, play, jump in the air after things, and otherwise move very well in this.
The harness is by a company called 'Avenue' and it's a body harness. You can see in one of the pictures below, that it's loose enough to slide around his body which side of but tight enough that he cannot slide out of it. I tried three different harness before I found one that worked for Hudson.
The small strap goes around his neck in the same way a collar would, and the larger one goes just behind his front legs.
The trick is that I the post and length of his tie-out arranged just so....he cannot get caught up in anything or caught on anything. If he does, he can easily wriggle backwards out of the harness.
I also am supervising him closely when he's outside.
