March 15th 2008 - Getting High on Sugar and Clean Air
This morning I was telling my dad how living in the suburbs has given me less options for outdoor photography. My neighborhood is just not as interesting. So he pulled the 4-wheeler around and told me to hop on.
We took a ride around his little rural/country community and told me some stories. He took me out to an interesting rustic house that had been built from all the poplar trees that had fallen in the area after Hurricane Katrina. I took some photos of the house and Mr. Patterson, the man who is building the house. We had a really good time out.
Finally we headed back to the house to celebrate my nephew's 1st birthday. We all had a lot of fun eating cake and ice cream and watching him get all messy.
Dad and I ended the evening with a trip out to the river while the girls went out shopping.
This is a photo from my Grandmother's farm adjacent to my Dad's property. Man I miss nighttime photos.

Firstly id like to say sorry for the poor quailty image, i was abit of a silly sausage today and i left my camera's SD card in my laptop today. So when i got to location and turned on my camera i saw 'No Card' flash up and i know instantly were i left it, i couldnt go home to get it because i was on my way to somewhere i had to be by 5. Luckily my mum was with me and she has a 8MG camera on her phone so i used that to get my photo for today. without that phone i think i would of had to of missed a day of my 365 challenge, Im going to have to pay my mum back in a big way for this. What i do like about this photo though is how the focus takes you from the trees to the London Skyline, its just a shame i couldnt use my camera to get a better image.
