Cymbals to be cleaned. All 70's or 80's era Zildjian cymbals. Top left, 18" crash (or it could be a crash ride, not sure how they divided things those days), counter clock-wise, 16" crash (medium thin, by the weight), then old New Beat hi-hats, 14", top then bottom, left to right.

As a note, these New Beats are a lot lighter then the ones you would by in the 90's or today. The top hat is actually thin enough that it could be warped with you hands. Personally, I like it. Its like "New Beat DARK." Same great articulation, just a much darker sound, not quite as in your face.

DIY A to E kit

DIY A to E kit

My first DIY AtoE conversion. Cheap kit bought off Craigslist. Added a better kick pedal from a friend. Added a ride and cowbell. :-) I'll probably add a splash cymbal. Everything is non-destructive and reversible. I could probably get the kit back to acoustic-only in under an hour depending on how hard it is to clean off doubled-sided tape residue. :-P
