Pet Filter Cloth
- A term relating to geotextiles used in filtration applications but has also become a generic term to cover all geotextiles.

Water Bottle Sun Filter

In case of no running water, you can sanitize stream water in plastic jugs.
Go to a stream with a bucket, a funnel and an old tshirt or something. And as many clear plastic containers as you can find, marked with the recycling code 1 (for PET or PETE)
Scoop water into the bucket, put a piece of cloth in the funnel and pour water into the bottle. The cloth will get the big chunks, be sure to change/rinse it often.
Fill the bottle to 75%, cap it and set it in the sun. It needs direct UV exposure for 6 hours minimum, 2 days if it's cloudy. This will kill just about any bacteria and virus inside.

My sister's kittens. This was done on a tabletop set up using a plain white cloth background and studio lighting. Photo taken with Contax Aria, Contax TLA360 Flash with Lumiquest Mini Softbox attachment, Studio Systems SP920MDLVP Monolight with Small Softbox, Zeiss Planar 50mm F1.7 lens, Tiffen 81A Warming filter, Monolight was to photographer's right at 45 degrees set at F11, The Contax TLA360 was on camera set at F8 for fill flash. Camera exposure was F11. Film was Kodak Portra 160NC. Metered with a Sekonic L-508 Zoom Master meter.
