Sand Filter Operation
The oldest and most basic filtration process, which generally uses two grades of sand (coarse and fine) for turbidity removal or as a first stage roughing filter or pre-filter in more complex processing systems.

KIRKUK IRAQI MILITARY BASE, Iraq – Warrant Officer Ahmed, who serves with Maintenance Company, 49th Brigade, 12th Iraqi Army Division, cleans and checks a fuel filter as part of a six-month maintenance requirement for armored High-Mobility Multi-Purpose Wheeled Vehicles at Kirkuk Iraqi Army Military Base, north of Kirkuk, Jan. 20, 2011. Sgt. Jonathan Marks, a Sand Stone, Minn. native, and light-wheel vehicle mechanic, Company B, 101st Brigade Support Battalion, 1st Advise and Assist Task Force, 1st Infantry Division, said U.S. Soldiers working with the Iraqi soldiers to stress the importance of servicing and maintaining their vehicles to remain mission ready.

we were there before sun went down, and i have kept my camera into my beg for twice as sky getting dark with Mosquitoes (sssssssssssssss) ....
while I waiting for my friend Tony and Ong finish their shooting .. the moment appear and I took out my camera gain for this....
