Diesel Particle Filter
- Particle filters, also known as sequential Monte Carlo methods (SMC), are sophisticated model estimation techniques based on simulation. Particle filters have important applications in econometrics .

HDi FAP 110 1.6l Turbocharger
The turbocharger of the second-generation HDi FAP 110 engine by Peugeot Citroen PSA.
The earlier version of the 107bhp engine was a 2.0l machine and did not fit in the 206. This newer 1.6l engine was the first diesel engine with particle filter available for Peugeot's compact hatchback.
The turbocharger is located at the front top of the engine compartment, and the cover over the turbine is propably to keep the bonnet from getting too hot to touch.
