Duck Pond Filter

Original Details:
15 hand-held RAW images taken with Nikon D300s and NIKKOR 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR II lens.
Image Processing:
Processing in Hugin:
* Stitched original images using cylindrical projection.
Processing in Photoshop:
* Used content-aware fill/healing brush, clone stamp tool, and puppet warp tool to correct parallax errors and to fill in empty spaces around the edge.
* Converted results to a smart object for further processing.
* Duplicated smart object layer and applied Multiply blend mode to increase contrast.
* Applied Vibrance adjustment layer to increase saturation.
* Applied Linear Burn blending layer with modified blue from the water, masked for the sky and with gradient applied to mask, to correct overexposed sky.
* Applied Levels adjustment layer to brighten mid-tones and a slight S-Curve adjustment layer to bring back some of the resulting lost contrast.
* Minor burning and dodging for areas that were too light/too dark, respectively.
* Applied small amount of sharpening with High Pass Filter Overlay layer using Hard Light blend mode.
Filtering the Falls
This duck is filtering the water going over the falls for food. He was really shaking his head as he did this. I shot a short video which was kind of cute.
