We stopped and waited for this carpet snake to make its way across the road. Had a mini photo session.
This road is a short section of the 'old Palmerton highway' that is now set aside for one way traffic and called 'Tourist scenic drive'
We didn't see another car while we were on that road.
Carpet snake
Last year while walking along the Moffat Beach headland, we saw this carpet snake slithering around this banksia tree just on sunset. It was about 3 metres long.
