Another picture taken by LG during her visit here. Barrington West, Barrington, Illinois - oh, gag, look at those sideburns, and of course, both of us are wearing the wrong colors for us. This was a really nice apartment, though, despite the really long shag carpeting which constantly concealed very long scary hairpins worn by the previous tenant.
1st Christmas in Barrington
1977 I remember this tree, a Douglas fir-- it was the first Christmas tree that we bought together! This funny shag carpeting was a hiding place for strange large hair pins belonging to the previous inhabitant, and elderly lady with a large "bun".
