Green Carpet Anemone
- The Green Carpet, Colostygia pectinataria, is a moth of the genus Colostygia in the family Geometridae.

Wood anemones in spring fog
The snow has only been gone for a couple of weeks but the wood anemones have already taken over the forest floor, stretching out as vast, white dotted, green carpets, covering the dead, brown leaves of yesteryear.
