- (Bamboo rugs) Bamboo rugs are made by weaving natural bamboo fibers. Bamboo is an eco-friendly rug material.
- Large format describes large photographic films, large cameras, view cameras (including pinhole cameras) and processes that use a film or digital sensor, generally 4 x 5 inches (10x13 cm) or larger. The most common large formats are 4x5 and 8x10 inches (20x25 cm).
8x10 Fun in the Snow Portrait
Took the 8x10 along for a fun day of sledding at the Findlay reservoir. This father/daughter couple was willing enough to let Lauren and me borrow their sled for a few times down the hill. I repaid them with a B&W portrait. Scan cropped down from a 5x7ish piece of the actual negative. Printed on Oriental VC RC, split grade method.

Some older 8x10 images from earlier Fall 2010 that were too dense for traditional printing with Oriental RC VC papers. These four are reprints on a new test paper, Ultrafine RC VC. Surprisingly enough, this paper has a more true neutral tone, and prints w/ 1-1.5 grades higher in HALF the time of Oriental papers! 0__0
