(Loma (ethnic group)) The Loma (or Loghoma, Looma, Lorma) are a Manden ethnic group living primarily in the mountainous, sparsely populated border region between Guinea and Liberia. In 1991, their population was estimated in 250,000 Loma between both countries.
(Loma (microsporidian)) Loma is a genus of microsporidian parasites, infecting fish. The taxomomic position of Loma in the family Glugeidae has been questioned by DNA sequencing results.

Roy is an Irish TV Show, based in Dublin, which has been shown on CBBC and RTE Two . The show, centred around the title character Roy O'Brien, the animated son of a real family, settling in to his new school, stars Simon Delaney, Cathy Belton and Martha Byrne.

Royal Aviation was the parent of Canadian charter airline Royal Airlines, which was based at Dorval Airport. The airline was acquired in 2001 by Canada 3000, which in turn went bankrupt in the months following the events of September 11, 2001.
Loma Montana
Loma is northeast of Fort Benton where the Marias River joins the Missouri. Lewis and Clark camped here on June 3, 1805, and named the smaller river after Capt. Lewis’s cousin, Maria Wood. In 1831 Fort Peigan, a trading post, was established here by James Kipp of the American Fur Company. A year later the post was abandoned, burned by the Indians, and replaced by Fort McKenzie. Ferryboat service was available for many years at Loma.
