Scream

Technique: The original idea for this shot was taken from this months issue of Digital SLR photography magazine, article written by Caroline Wilkinson. 1. Model applies eye and lip make-up 2. Take shot, lighting described above, overexposing the skin but not the eyes or lips 3. Crop photo in Photoshop, apply a duplicate layer set to overlay 4. Adjust curves to further bleach the skin 5. Add a black and white adjustment layer set to hard light 6. tweak the colours in the layer adjustments to bring out the red in the lips being careful not to turn the skin yellow 7. Add another layer and with a large soft white brush remove any outlines and hair 8. your done.
