A bath ( or ), bathtub (AmE), or tub (informal) is a plumbing fixture used for bathing. Most modern bathtubs are made of acrylic or fiberglass, but alternatives are available in enamel over steel or cast iron, and occasionally waterproof finished wood.
Some things one can't live without: # 2 The bath tub
Best place for newspaper reading, steam cloud watching, and phone calls. In fact, you can run nearly your whole business out of a bath tub. In daily use. The boss of our water company already calls me a friend. Obviously the good man is convinced that I'm running a child-swamped household. So I get lots of free tickets for zoo and planetarium and coupons for baby food jars. Butternut squash & chicken is my favourite. In general, sharing the bath tub would be appreciated, but by the time bathers feel comfortable with the temperature, I'm afraid of a pyelonephritis.
