Sesame Street Fashion

House of Gabriele: Body Armor Jean Jacket
(RPI FashionWire) - House of Gabriele has signed an exclusive contract with Floating C to model the Milan-based fashion house's fall line of personal body armor.
"He embodies everything that House of Gabriele is about," said head designer Gabriele Usillo.
Floating C was named International Male's "2005 New Model of the Year", Domestic Male's "Best Male Model Without a Torso," and "Sexiest Consonant Alive" by Alphabet Today. His television work includes appearances on Sesame Street, Law & Order, Law & Order: Crimminal Intent, Law & Order: SVU, Law & Order: SUV, Law & Order: Frontier Justice and Law & Order: Space Quest 3010.
"It's a honor and a pleasure to work with Gabriele Usillo," he said. "I've worn his work for years. In fact, if not for accident with House of Gabriele's wearable iron madien, I'm not sure my career would have taken off like it has."
The announcement was not without controversy. The President of Male Model's Equity, Babette Stellington, claims that the use of models without torsos takes jobs from more traditional male models.
"This is an outrage wrapped inside a travesty," she said. "We're taking action by announcing a boycott of unprecedented size and scope scheduled for May 1. We're asking supporters and fans of male models to walk off their jobs, walk out of the classrooms and take to the streets in protest today."
