52: Week 16: Keep it Real Simple
Well. This has been a crazy couple of weeks for me! Sadly, my 52 week project did not happen last week. But I have two really really good excuses: 1). I got engaged and 2). My computer crashed. See?
Anyway, I'm going to make up for it with two photos this week. So here's the first from this week. This is my stack of books and magazines to prepare me for my wedding. I chose to focus in on the "Real Simple" because 1). I love that magazine, and 2). I want to try to remember to keep it real simple during these next months :)
I used the external flash on this one, bouncing it off the ceiling. At first I wasn't a huge fan of that chunk of blanket covering the bottom magazine, but now I like it. It makes it more cloud-like somehow.
In other news, I cannot believe that 3 out of my first 15 photos in this 52-week project involved getting engaged. Wow. That is insane!!! What a wonderful summer it was :)
