80s Fashion Images
- Fashion may be defined as the "prevailing style during a particular time the prevailing style(as in dress) during a particular time. It may also be known as "social standing or prominence especially as signalized by dress or conduct.
- 80S are ribosomes present in eukaryotes. Their small subunit is 40S and the large subunit is 60S. Ribosomes present in eukaryotes differ from those found in prokaryote in many ways, including being larger, containing more and larger proteins, and have four (instead of three) molecules of RNA.

- The 80s decade ran from January 1, 80, to December 31, 89. It was the ninth decade in the Anno Domini/Common Era, if the nine-year period from 1 AD to 9 AD is considered as a "decade".
my first attempt at fashion photography
so this really is my first attempt at something which can only be remotely considered to be fashion photography. as a matter of fact this shot is part of a workshop i did two weeks ago. the goal was to go through the process of creating fashion images from the shoot to post production.
even though fashion photography is not my primary interest, i think i learned some very helpful things and i made some huge steps when it comes down to my photoshop skills. so naturally this image has quite some retouching from the skin to the background. it still bugs me a lot that i managed to cut off the elbow on the right.

80s fashion
Digital shot from my first organised session in the studio for a retro fashion project. The final images are be taken on film and printed in the darkroom. I chose the 80s and inspiration from the Miami Vice series which greatly influenced fashion at the time particularly with t-shirts (pastel shades) worn underneath suit jackets. I chose grey and white for contrast and side lighting here which is good for bringing out mens features.
