35mm Camera Battery
- (Camera batteries) Batteries designed to power the various functions of cameras. Lithium batteries are popular for this use thanks to their small size and long life. Common 3V types include CR2 and CR123A, while 6V types include CRP2 and 2CR5. Flash units normally use AA-size batteries.
- 35 mm film is the basic film gauge most commonly used for chemical still photography (see 135 film) and motion pictures, and remains relatively unchanged since its introduction in 1892 by William Dickson and Thomas Edison, using film stock supplied by George Eastman.
- A small format film, with an image size of 24 x 36mm available in 12, 24 or 36 exposures. It is the most commonly used film size, but does not offer the quality of medium or large format, because this small negative must be enlarged quite a bit in the darkroom loosing it's clarity and sharpness.
- The standard film gauge for films intended to be shown in cinemas. Depending on the film stock being used, 35mm film is capable of producing an image of sufficient detail to fill even a large cinema screen.

I have been wanting to use this camera for some time as this was my mother's favorite of her cameras. Even after she switched to a 35mm camera, she would periodically get this camera out and exercise it. That must have paid off, as the camera is still functional.
I have now figured out how to power the meter without having to modify the camera or locate and buy the expensive replacement battery. I plan on getting some Fuji FP-100C and FP-100B film and shooting some exposures.

Russian 35mm Camera "Single Lens Reflex" "M42 Screw" This is made by the Moscow based Krasnorgyik Factory and not the Ukraine version..This was either a 1979 or 1980 production model and features the Moscow Games symbol....Uncoupled Selenium Meter with no Battery required and made out of a cast Aluminium block which means you can play Rugby with it and still film the boys in the bathroom after.
