Victorian Fashion Children
- Victorian fashion comprises the various fashions and trends in British culture that emerged and grew in province throughout the Victorian era and the reign of Victoria, a period which would last from June 1837 to January 1901.

Spanish Doll Daguerreotype
This is my newest acquisition out of Spain. 1/6th plate daguerreotype of a sweet little girl in her off shoulder dress holding her china head doll. The dress is actually tinted peach and the dolls dress is tinted lilac. Image came in a full case and has old paper seals. The image dates from the early 1850's by the style of the mat. She looks very proud to be holding her doll and did not move a bit which is somewhat rare in children daguerreotypes.

They may well be the children of the lady in the next photo as I bought them together and see a resemblance.
