the '80s strikes back
i took a picture of this girl in her horrid pinafore style thing & then actually gasped out loud when she turned around & it was complete with poofy pockets!! ergh! *still gagging from gross '80s style clothing*
i went to indooroopilly shoppingtown today & saw so many young girls wandering around wearing '80s style clothing. seriously people, it was bad when it happened the first time & it ain't got any better since then!!
you know, it wouldn't be so bad if it was just kind of '80s style with bit of a 2000 flavour, as opposed to it appearing as though they've simply brought out all of the stuff from the '80s which didn't sell twenty-odd years ago.
you might note that you don't see anyone wearing the clothes who actually went through the '80s. i suspect this isn't particularly because the clothes are designed for younger people, but that the ones who've been there have seen the photos of themselves from that time & wouldn't want to be seen in it again.
